We are a Christ centred community of people, called to grow in our knowledge and love of God through worship, prayer, action and reflection. This growth involves naming and claiming our God-given gifts for ministry and fulfilling God's purpose for our lives and our life together.
We are a community that enthusiastically celebrates the rich diversity of God's people. Living out the conviction that everyone is a precious and beloved child of God, we work to overcome the barriers among us that destroy community and diminish the dignity of those created in God's image.
Clapton Church is a community of people that are committed to allowing the transforming love of Jesus Christ, and His passion for the least and the lost among us to lead us beyond our walls in pursuing God's dream for a world of justice and peace.
My personal prayer each week is for God's presence to fill our Sanctuary and facilities in a special way. I pray for God to allow every person present to experience Him.
